Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between “Corporate Legal Agenda” and an “In-House Lawyer”?
Corporate legal agenda refers to ongoing legal support for the company. An in-house lawyer, however, is regularly physically present at your company and participates in meetings and decision-making — allowing matters to be handled faster and in context.
Can the cooperation be set at a fixed price?
Yes. We structure the cooperation with a clearly defined scope (typically 1–3 days of presence per week) and predictable costs. The specific setup depends on the size of the company, the agenda, and the level of risk.
What if we need legal support outside the agreed days?
We structure the standard agenda to fit within the agreed regime. Extraordinary situations are handled flexibly — either by reallocating capacity or outside the agreed framework based on mutual agreement.
Does this replace an internal legal counsel?
In many companies, yes. You gain access to an attorney without employment obligations or HR administration, while benefiting from professional liability, confidentiality, and team backup capacity.
How much does regular cooperation cost and how does it compare to standard hourly legal rates?

Regular cooperation is most commonly structured as a monthly retainer corresponding to the scope of the lawyer’s presence at your company.

We typically offer the following models:

Basic Retainer
– up to 32 hours per month (approx. 1 working day per week)
CZK 55,000 / month (approx. CZK 1,719 / hour)

Extended Retainer
– up to 64 hours per month (approx. 2 working days per week)
CZK 95,000 / month (approx. CZK 1,484 / hour)

Beyond the retainer scope, services are billed at CZK 2,500 / hour.

For comparison: the standard hourly rate of an external corporate lawyer often ranges between CZK 3,500–5,000 / hour (depending on seniority and the nature of the matters).

The retainer model provides predictable costs together with speed and continuity, as the lawyer gains long-term knowledge of the company, its people, and its processes. The specific arrangement is always tailored individually according to the industry, structure, and level of risk.

How quickly can the cooperation begin?
After the initial consultation, we define priorities, scope, and the cooperation model. In typical cases, cooperation can begin within days to weeks, depending on capacity and the company’s needs.
